Wayne Arthurs Cup Nominations: Now Open

Each year Bayside Regional Tennis Association and Moorabbin & Districts Junior Tennis Association come together to enter two teams in Wayne Arthurs Cup.  Wayne Arthurs Cup is a Tennis Victoria Regional Team Event for the 10 years and under age group.  Players must be 10 years or under as of 30 April, 2021.

This year the Cup will be held at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club (on red porous courts) from 10-11 April, 2021.  

Teams consist of two boys and two girls who each play one singles match and one mixed doubles match per round in a pool round-robin format. Teams will compete against Metropolitan Associations and Country Tennis Regions. 

We are very pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for this year’s event!  Your nomination must include the following information:

1.            Player’s full name

2.            Date of Birth

3.            Gender

4.            Full name of parent

5.            Parent mobile number

6.            Parent email address

7.            Association – BRTA or MDJTA

8.            Club name 

9.            Competition played – Saturday or Sunday and Section

10.         Coach and coach’s contact number

Please email your nomination to cups@baysidetennis.asn.au.  Nominations must be received by Thursday, 25 March.

Players selected consider being part of a representative team to be one of the highlights of their tennis career and the friendships made endure for many years.
